I hate to say it but this was one of my most disappointing reads of all time. From the very beginning I wasn’t enjoying it, it felt clunky and seemed to jump all over the place. Her last two books I’ve read were both 5 stars and this barely felt like it was written by the same author. The writing style was definitely hers as it’s very unique but this just wasn’t for me. I was confused more than I was engaged and while I can appreciate the underlying message and the horror, I really disliked this book.
