Holy moly this book was a wild ride. I love thrillers that involve hiking through dense, uninhabited woods and this did a great job of spooking me. It immediately gripped my attention and I read the entire thing in hours. The writing was so engaging and descriptive and the twists actually shocked me quite a few times. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars was due to the childish actions of the girls and one single character but thankfully justice was served in the end.
