This book was just as good as his first novel, full of suspense and lots of twists and turns. I know a lot of people have problems with this books but I honestly really enjoy them, they keep me entertained and the plot twists really do get to me.
Lena’s estranged twin sister drove to a bridge in the middle of nowhere and jumped two hundred feet to her death. But Lena doesn’t believe that so she has driven to that very bridge to find out what really happened by interviewing the highway patrolman who supposedly found her sister’s body. But Lena is confused, he seems like such a nice guy but there’s one problem, his story isn’t adding up. And he can’t explain why there were sixteen attempted 911 calls from her cell phone before she jumped and why in her last text to Lena he’s mentioned by name in it.
This tale of revenge was so fast paced and action packed my heart was pounding the whole time I was reading it which is pretty common for me when reading books by this author. My hair was standing on end at certain points and I’m pretty sure I annoyed everyone around me with all of the gasping I was doing. It’s highly entertaining, dark, twisted, and is basically like a ride on a roller coaster. I could not put this book down and I wish I could read it again for the first time to feel all the feelings again.
Many thanks to William Morrow for the gifted copy for my honest review!
