The Wife Who Knew Too Much by Michele Campbell

5 STARS

Thank you so much to St. Martins Press for providing me with a complimentary copy of this book for my honest review!

Michele Campbell is one of those authors that I will always read, she’s on my auto-buy list whenever a new book comes out and I usually devour her books in less than a day. Her twists and thrills are unmatched and this book was just as good as her previous works. There was the perfect amount of story building and I loved that we got a glimpse of what had happened to the characters in the past as the story progressed. Speaking of the characters, I didn’t care for any of them but two in particular really pushed my buttons. Tabitha seemed like the sweetest girl but holy cow was she naive. So many times throughout the book I wanted to shake her and have her really open her eyes to what was going on around her. I know love can make you blind but, c’mon girlfriend, wake up to what’s really going on. Then there was Connor, who I don’t feel like I need to go into details about why I didn’t like him. Read the book, you’ll probably have the same opinion I did.

Characters aside, this book is well worth the full 5 stars. There was so many amazing twists thrown in that left me reeling and the ending completely flabbergasted me but also left me feeling a little emotional. It’s not an ending typical to thriller books but I really enjoyed it.

I am now impatiently waiting the release of her next book.
