My first book by this author and wow, it did not disappoint. I was drawn in immediately by the main character who was battling so many demons after her sister disappeared. I felt bad for her for probably 80% of the book. You’ll understand why I stopped feeling bad for her after you read this.

The cover is what originally drew me to this book, I’m a sucker for florals and anyone with tattoos. I just wish I had enjoyed the story more, the female main character was insufferable to me at times and parts of the story felt like they were dragging. I did enjoy the small town vibes

4 Stars Wow, this book was intense. Megan Goldin’s other books have been kind of hit or miss for me but this was definitely a hit. I don’t think a thriller has freaked me out as much as this one did, the writing on her arms and hands and the memory loss got to me.

The first thing that always captures me in Rachel Griffin’s book is her beautiful, prose-like writing. I write down so many quotes from her books and love looking back over them to read over and over again. I wish I had read this book before her others so that I could give a good comparison
