Maybe I went into this book with too high of expectations after loving their adult debut but I struggled through this one. I get the horror was meant to be the family aspects but it got so old after awhile, I just wanted something crazy and horrifying to happen. There were parts that were intense and things got a little crazy but for the most part this book was completely forgettable. The only reason I’m giving it a three instead of a two is because the last line was pretty iconic.
