As a child who grew up chasing and being obsessed with storms my Kansas booty devoured this book. It also helped that Wes’s character was exactly the kind of guy I am attracted to and made me swoon. I loved everything about this book. I loved Sloane and Wes so much with their messed up parents and rough upbringings and how much they strengthened each other. The romance between them was insanely hot even when they “hated” each other. But obviously one of my favorite parts was the rush of the storms and getting to read the best descriptions of them. It made me wish I was along for the ride (albeit as a terrible third wheel).
