As much as I love this author’s writing so much I fear this series is not for me. The plot and story feel very dull and lackluster to me when I compare them to her earlier books. I honestly don’t care for any of the characters and how much the story jumps around between them. The twists at the end didn’t even shock or surprise me, they just felt very meh. I’m not saying I won’t read her books again, I think it’s just this series I don’t enjoy.
