While this wasn’t my favorite book by this author it still packed an absolute punch with its twists and descriptions. Holy moly I was holding my breath countless times in anticipation and then my jaw was on the floor. Taylor Adams has such a way with words to build up so much suspense and then knocks your socks off with a big reveal. His writing when describing the setting in the cave had me feeling claustrophobic and like I was losing my breath myself. I love that he doesn’t leave all the twists for an explosive ending (even though explosive it was), he spreads them out throughout the book and I loved it.
