How was this book written by the same author as The Stranger Upstairs? I loved that book but this was beyond a struggle to get through. The plot felt like it jumped all over the place and for a shorter book it felt endless. The writing itself wasn’t even good, my mind kept drifting while I was reading until something exciting happened. Then there were a couple of parts that were so weird all I could think was what the heck and why was that needed. The ending is what saved it from being a one star.
