I knew I loved this author’s work after reading Dearest but she is now one of my favorite authors, this was insanely good. Her writing style is so gripping and captivating, I flew through this in a day. The setting to both stories was eerie but also enjoyable at the same time, it lent a lot to the story. Some of the spooky parts shocked me and surprised me but I also wasn’t ready for the twists or how heart warming it was. I found myself with tears in my eyes at the end. I was going to give this four stars when the character timeline was explained but the more I read the more I really enjoyed it. This was such a good book!
