This book embodied motherhood with a newborn so so well, wow, I was a little surprised by how much I really enjoyed this book. The cover is god awful in my opinion so I didn’t have the highest hopes but this was so good. I loved the beginning and while the middle did lag a little for me, the writing more than made up for it. It was gothic with generational trauma and so many shocking, spooky moments, I loved it.
