When I Kill You by B.A. Paris

Maybe my taste in thrillers has changed or her writing style is different but I haven’t been enjoying her books as much as I used to. They feel like they lack a lot and while this did build up suspense nicely I felt like the big twist at the end was just handed over very anticlimactically. The twist itself wasn’t great and it felt very rushed at the end. She tried to drop in little clues here and there throughout the book to make you believe you had it figured out but that didn’t work on me. Also Nell was one of the most annoying characters ever.

Many thanks to St. Martins Press for the gifted copy for my honest review!
