Sigh, I didn’t like this. Honestly from the very beginning it didn’t grip my attention like her books typically do. It might have been because I didn’t care for any of the characters or the plot, maybe both. It was nice to read about what was happening before vs. after and the book did start off with a shocking moment but it all just felt a little dull. Even the grand reveal at the end didn’t really shock me, I just felt sad. Also the second big plot twist at the end felt unnecessary.
