I was so excited for a romcom with a mystery element but this was so bad. I didn’t like Juliette from the beginning but then she got even more pushy and self-centered and talked way too much about her libido. I honestly skimmed through a lot of this. The dialogue between her and Charlie was god awful and the sex scene was one of the cringiest I’ve ever read. Overall I thought this had really terrible writing and I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out why people are calling this a cozy mystery.
