Sadly I’m starting to think this author was a one-hit wonder for me since I haven’t enjoyed any of her books since Sadie. I understand this is YA but the constant petty bickering in the group was driving me insane and so many parts of this story felt unnecessary to me. I was expecting a lot more zombies and action and I was so bored until they left their shelter, then I got bored again. The most interesting parts of the story happened around page 300 and then the book ended.
