Just once I would love to read a vampire book that didn’t reference Twilight or The Vampire Diaries. That aside I did like this book at the very beginning but the mediocre writing grew worse the more I read. Also most of the characters acted like high schoolers which threw me off a lot. The ending did get me enough that I’ll probably read the sequel even though I literally just realized who the author is and I don’t care for her.
