I’m pretty sure this is the first book I’ve read by this author and it felt like a pretty meh thriller to me. I can appreciate all of the similarities to the movie Castaway but it felt like a lot of big buildup to a lackluster ending. I do feel like this book could have been shorter, not so much from the older sister’s perspective but the younger. The beginning was so anxiety inducing but I was honestly starting to get bored in the middle and at the end. I’ll give some of her other books a try and I thank this book for solidifying that I’ll never get on an airplane.
